Welcome to ChefShot. As an independent developer, I prioritize your privacy and transparency. This policy explains how your data is handled when you use the ChefShot application.

1. Information We Collect

• Authentication Data: When you use "Sign in with Apple", we collect your Apple-provided identifier, name, and email address solely for account creation and secure syncing.
• Image Data: We collect the food photography images you explicitly choose to upload for AI processing.
• Usage Metadata: We may collect crash logs and diagnostic data to improve app stability, entirely anonymously.

2. Local-First Architecture & Cloud Sync

ChefShot is built with a Local-First architecture. Your raw images and metadata are primarily stored directly on your device. Cloud syncing is provided as a backup and cross-device convenience feature:

• Images synced to the cloud are securely stored using Vercel Blob Storage.
• User profiles, credits, and photo metadata are securely managed via Supabase databases.

3. Third-Party AI Processing

To generate commercial-grade food photography, your uploaded images and textual prompts are securely transmitted to third-party AI models via API. These providers are strictly bound to use your images solely for fulfilling the immediate rendering request. Your images are not used by us or our partners to train public AI models.

4. Data Retention and Account Deletion

You have absolute control over your data. You can permanently delete your account directly within the ChefShot app settings at any time. Initiating this process will:

• Immediately revoke your authentication tokens.
• Trigger an automated cascade deletion of your user profile, metadata, and all high-resolution images stored on our Vercel Blob and Supabase infrastructure.
• Note: Data stored locally on your device must be deleted by uninstalling the application.

5. No Sale of Personal Data

We do not and will never sell your personal information, images, or metadata to advertisers or data brokers.
